David Oliver studied music composition, jazz piano, and mallet percussion at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music and world music at the Creative Music Studio in New York. Outside of his own recordings on Eucalyptus and seventeen years with master ska drummer WInston Grennan, David has performed and recorded with the following musicians: Rick Altman, Bad Brains, Karl Berger, Dan Brubeck, The Clarendonians, The Cohesion Jazz Ensemble, Aston Ellis (Robanic), Kim & Reggie Harris, Winston Grennan's Ska Rocks, Pat Kelly, King Bravo, Paul McCandless, Tommy McCook and the Ska Jazz Band, Lynn Taitt, Vic Taylor, Toots and the Maytals and Gary Windo.
